Your main goal in completing Dauntless should still be getting your Slayer Mastery up, but one achievement to watch out for here is getting an Escalation playlist to Level 25, which is the only achievement that requires you to grind the same exact content over and over. So these achievements don't really add much grind to the game, but rather give you many different things to accomplish on your way to the completion.
However, all of the tasks in these new achievements will help you work toward what is still the most grindy achievement in the game, reaching Slayer Master 40, which is an OG achievement. If you had completed the base 1000, your time to completion on this will be considerably shorter than someone who has not. There have been many new monsters, weapons, and activities added to the game since its launch, and they wanted to reward players for doing everything the game has to offer.

The December 2021 title update in Dauntless added a large batch of new achievements that includes tasks from all the previous title updates combined. Check the guide below for a few more tips toward this final achievement. Don't waste time using the same weapon for too long as the experience earned will slow down greatly after getting the second tick on each weapon's experience meter. You'll need to kill a lot of monsters, craft nearly everything in the game, and switch weapons often to earn more experience. Focus on getting the materials you need and only worry about that until you're done, though you could easily complete a Mastery card with one of these +10 weapons for another achievement. When you begin your journey in Dauntless, focus on completing all the tasks given to you by the various NPCs in Ramsgate.
As described in the achievement description below, you can significantly decrease this time investment with real money, but that is up to you. These run for 5-6 weeks and if done on the "Free" path, it could take just about all of that time.
